Breast Cancer: Popular Prevention Tips Pt.1

Every Sunday I’ll be dropping popular prevention tips that we all can add to our every day lives to #ProtectTheBreasts. Peep some below adapted from the Fred Hutch cancer website…

mom-overeating1 1. Watch your weight: to my ladies hitting menopause you’re a prime target. Now, they’re not saying don’t eat (that’s ridiculous!) but becoming overweight ups your chances to obtain breast cancer. Never obsess over your BMI but be sure that you’re not being reckless with it either.

dinking-woman2. Put the cranberry and vodka down: Sipping can be a fun activity out there but it acutally increases your chances of getting breast cancer. It’s recommended to having ONE drink a day no matter if it’s wine or a mix of your favorite alcohol. Is that rum and coke really worth the tatas? I don’t think so!
